Jack encounters an insider within the militia group who reveals the horrific details of the mercenaries' true intentions. But the further he pushes into the lush jungle canopy, the stranger things become. With his boat destroyed, his money gone, and the gorgeous Valerie suddenly missing, Jack now finds himself facing an army of mercenaries amidst the wilds of the island, with nothing but a gun and his wits to survive. Shortly after docking, however, Jack's boat was greeted by artillery fire from a mysterious militia group swarming about the island. A week ago, a brash female reporter named Valerie had offered him an incredible sum of cash to take her to this unspoiled paradise. The scared twelve year old needs to be in a shopping mall, picking nail polish with friends, not a temple being worshiped, or with a bunch of whackadoodles who stand around crackin live rounds off into the air during victory celebrations.A tropical paradise seethes with hidden evil in Far Cry®, a cunningly detailed action shooter that pushes the boundaries of combat to shocking new levels.įreelance mariner Jack Carver is cursing the day he ever came to this island. He's NOT military, & aside from being some sort of martyr in their obviously religious war, has no business being here. There is simply ZERO commitment to a situation like this.
I'd have given it a "Thanks mum, didn't realize you hated me so." & gone right back to my accounting job, girlfriend & car in America. It's.it's just weak & once here, only ONE person calls it right "Sounds like she fled to protect herself.
You know what old Jack Burton would say to that? His mum, who never mentioned ANY of this once dies & asks you to go BACK?. "A young man, (American citizen by the sound of the opening phone message.) returns to his war-torn country-of-birth.After living his youth hopefully preparing himself by becoming a Seal or a Ranger or something else of comparabley high life expectancy in guerilla combat. The storyline vexes me still likely this is born of my original perception of *potential spoiler below if you havn't seen the opening cinimatic & played twenty minutes in* (On ultra it is pleasing to find an old ruin & look at what is perhaps a recreation of a shrine with ancient statuary I'll never see in real life.) That being said, the further I get into the game, the more I enjoy the countryside & the aethstics of it. Thanks for the heads up guys, "Sucks like a black hole" for me is an overused euphimism as often used as "I loved it!" unfortunatly.
Lame ♥♥♥, glad I didn't pick it up for full price. 22 caliber long rifles cleverly disguised as the devs snicker from the trees. & makes it feel just like that, audacious crafting ( it's silly compared to ANY other crafting experience in ANY game that has one) & the standard Farcry "I know it's a pig.EMPTY your magazine if you want it to die!"Īyjay is like the WORST hunter in the world either that or ALL of these firearms (many of which Uplay makes you pay for through their credit system) are ACTUALLY.
The graphics are okay (ultra on everything) The gameplay?Ī world with obviously repetetive generated events. I would scatter her ashes at 20,000 feet & call it good during my flight back HOME. What? I'm supposed to try to help these people in THEIR civil war so I can MAYBE scatter my mother's ashes in the exact place she wanted? VERY difficult to get "into" the storyline. The storyline is so weak thus far it makes Pagan Min look like a despotic "good guy" (if there is such a thing) attempting to keep the terrorists at bay.
